Cinnamon Clay, Clapham Junction

Just coming back from a lovely meal at this small restaurant on an unassuming patch of Lavendar Hill. Small but perfectly formed dishes- tenderscallops, seared tuna, flash-fried squid were among the fish components. Possibly the juicest rare beef fillet I've had on a splendid saffron mash. The only downside was that the service- which, when it came, was fantastically attentive and friendly- was stretched with only two waitresses for an increasingly busy restaurant- and this on a Monday too. That aside, highly recommended, and only 10min walk from Clapham J too.
