Gorgeous meal, with friendly service and beautiful setting. Although prices look large, you can regularly get offers at TopTable- ours was for 25% on food and led to our two courses and wine being £30 a head. Quality of food more than up to standard of the best you can find- portions are small, but not in a bad way. However recommend one side dish per person.
We had delectable Duck as one main- rare to perfection and served with a duck dumpling. Seared Scallops with pork were also divine. Pork was tender and melt-in-the-mouth while the Scallops were tasty and fleshy. This is a signature dish and it really showed.
tip-The entrance is through what looks like a locked door to the right of the windows.
We didn't get an opportunity to scope out the bar areas, but word is that they are comfortable and invitingly loungey. We'll definitely be back soon to check these out and sample the rest of the menu.
