Hong Kong = hugely kamp (from Ruth in HK)

Actually tried to send this before my St Patrick's Day pint but it didn't work for some reason so tis now slightly out of order...

This is the rather bizarre and camp Symphony of Lights on the Hong Kong skyline, as viewed from the north shore of the harbour. At 8pm every night, the Hong Kong tourist board has persuaded / blackmailed loads of the world's most important skyscrapers housing investment banks and famous grand hotels and... shit, to join in with flashing their lights and turning different colours in time to some delightful pseudo-classical Canto-pop chooons! Was hilariously odd.

Earlier at the Temple Street night market I saw a random jade-and-buddhas stall which was blaring out Bananarama. I rest my case.
