One day to go

Not much to say beyond the big loud yelps of joy that echoed around the front room when Iceland and Sweden were to be found in the ten envelopes last night. A shame about Malta and Switzerland - but, in this Eurovision age, and after the mega-disappointment of last year’s Semi (which, let’s not forget, was met with boos around the Helskini Arena where we were watching it in person).

The EUROfiascoLite jury correctly predicted most of the winners last night, apart from Croatia, Portugal and Turkey (we had Switzerland, Malta and Bulgaria instead). Not bad work, and clearly it was the people of Europe that were wrong, rather than us..
