Joke of the Day
Parsons Green, 8.20am, after having been detrained and joined a 6-deep platform throng: "This is the control room at Parsons Green. There is a good service operating on the District Line." Where is this control room exactly- Mars? At least the crowd laughed rather than got violent. God knows for me at least it was borderline. Eventually got to work 90 minutes later.
What a shambles. And what a shambles of contradictory information and general crap the tube can be.
