The cliched London dining experience, part 74

Indifferent service. Over-priced, sub-ordinary food. Just two days after an amazing trip to the L'Atelier , and the day that the Standard is reporting that Michelin-starred restaurants are practically giving meals a way, it is a bit of a slap in the face to have such a disappointing London dining experience as that we had at Joe Allen 's tonight.

Last went there when I was about 7, and it has something of a legendary reputation. God only knows why. We won't be going back.
