Hello
This is the somewhat perfunctory blog.carlbob.com homepage. In a world before social media made it easier to post snippets more easily (and with greater reach) on other people's services, this would have been alive with #content both long and short. You can explore that world - a simpler time, perhaps - via the Explore the Blog section that's accessible via the top-left 'burger' menu.
These days the blog is mainly home to the including the much-anticipated [Subs check this] rundown of my favourite pop songs of the year which goes back all the way to 2009, miraculously enough. I may also post a playlist or short video at some point if you’re lucky. It is feasible that I'll add a bit more stuff to this blog in due course - as we all turn against our FAANG overloards and move away from social and back to barely-read, individually managed blogs. Hell, maybe I'll even shift this thing away from Blogger. But, for now, it is a pretty sleepy kind of place.
There’s probably a bit more activity going on over on Instagram and I have a love-hate (or perhaps that’s hate-hate) relationship with Twiddler that means I try and visit it less and less, but there’ll probably be something that’s caught by eye and been retweeted there. There are also largely neglected @carlbob homes over on Last.fm (very 2005! But still scrobbling my Spotify listens, after a fashion), Flickr, and YouTube.
