Down the Dumper

The Popjustice Forum is closing on 23rd April.

I first posted on the current iteration of the forum in August 2006, and the one before that in February 2005. There clearly was one before that too as my first post on the ‘old’ one referred to it being the ‘new’ forum!

Anyway it’s sad times, definitely. It has been one place where I can get the latest news/updates on nearly every pop act I have even a passing interest in - and find other people there who care too. 

There is at least a new one spinning up and a pretty amazing community spirit that’s come up in the space of very few days to make it happen - hopefully it will continue to be the best of what came before. But I’m sad that Peter is finally turning off the last part of the Popjustice empire that he sat astride for much of the 2000s.
